Description

Commander of Star Trek™ Fleet Command, do you like to explore the galaxy?

Star Trek™ Fleet Command is a game that lets you explore and expand the galaxy far far away. At the start of the game, you have Spork and Scotty guiding you in navigating space travel. The galaxy is a big place, so locate the mission control on your left. Your guides will hold your hand and tell you what to do as you follow along the story. The marker will have coordinates and the title of the task.

Watch your small ship move towards a Nausicaan ship and then destroy the enemy’s fleet within seconds. After a small victory, you follow the tasks that pop up after every interaction. A Rigellian pops up and wants a fight for your loot. This time, your screen has more details about the enemy and press attack to finish him off.

Once you are safe, move into the station interior to build a parsteel generator. The generator mines for the mineral parsteel, which is important to construct your structures in the station. Your guides continue to educate you on how to play the game, which includes joining factions and alliances.

How to play

While you are expanding your station with generators, you also have to recruit officers to have a full crew to explore the world. To build ships, you need raw materials like parsteel, dilithium and tritanium. Depending on the faction you join: Romulan, Federation or Klingon. Each faction has strengths and weaknesses.

Your ships and officers are important in the game, especially when playing against other players. Not only does your ship have to be powerful and strong, your team also has to have higher morale for you to gain the upper hand. There are many missions in the game, Star Trek™ Fleet Command encourages you to explore the world and expand your horizon and destroy enemies when necessary.

On the top left corner is your profile and level, as well as your credits below it. The center has your faction chat window. On the left are your resources Parsteel, Dilitium and Tritanium. Below them are your events in the game. Your shortcuts are at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to check on your progress in the game.

Aside from missions, you fight for territory with other players in Origin Space. You can mine for resources on your territory. To own a zone, you have to own nodes using your ships to capture and occupy. Other players can also steal your zones using stronger or more ships. You can also unlock the Orion Syndicate to receive better benefits daily. When you meet daily goals, the game rewards you with resources and ship parts.

There are a lot of things to do in Star Trek™ Fleet Command, you have to build your own base so you can explore the galaxy. During your exploration, expand your power by exploiting and exterminating enemies. Do you have what it takes to be a Commander in space?

How To Play

It is easy to be overwhelmed by the choices in the game. However, to become familiar with the game, the main quest is the best way to start. Your guides will help you by giving tips on how to run a tight ship. They also show you around the sectors while you learn the ropes of becoming a leader.

Collect resources and learn the controls before rushing in to attack other players or stronger ships. You may need some time to understand the statistics in the game, and always return to upgrade and build more structures in the base. Keep your base busy while you are out marking territory for future use. While it is tempting to use your speed boost, they are hard to come by.

You have to join an alliance early on in the game, and it is a good place to be a good friend. Help out in the alliance and you will soon receive assistance when you need it. With extra parts and a hand from other players, it is easier to do research and build structures.

Once you have a few decent ships, it is time to play pirate and take down enemies for cargo. Go far and wide to look for valuable things your crew can fight for. Of course, do not forget to share the spoils and reward your crew member for a job well done. A happy crew is less likely to mutiny. Share your alliance in the comment area below so that more people can join you to be the strongest alliance in Star Trek™ Fleet Command.
